Natural gas pipes are usually laid at depth of 90cm-120cm (from pipe-top to finished floor level)under the driveway,sidewalk or the lawn.

Warning labels or piles are set up at intervals showing NKGAS and arrow.

There is a concrete / PE board at depth of 60cm-90cm underground with warning tape on showing NKOIL or CAUTION! NATURAL GAS PIPE sign.30cm underneath the protection board is the top of the natural gas pipe. 30cm above and 10cm beneath the pipe are buried with sand.
